The ancient city of Rhodiapolis is built on a hill 2.5 km from the Kumluca region of Antalya province. Asklepion and Opramoas made the city famous in their time. Rhodiapolis is one of the important settlements in Eastern Lycia, founded in the 8th century BC. Archaeological excavations began in 2006, which resulted in the discovery of many artifacts and silver coins.

The ancient city of Rhodiapolis has many buildings such as Sebasteion, Agora, a necropolis, a water cistern, a temple, a bathhouse, a Byzantine church, a small theater, an aqueduct. In the center of the city there is a small theater designed by the Greeks. The theater seats 1,500 people. Only the first floor of the theater has survived. The remains of the theater found in the city center is the most powerful structure that has survived to this day.

Scattered to the south-east of the theater are the ruins of the Agora and the stadium. The forest area on the territory of which the city is located suffered from a major forest fire in 2000.

Opramoas was known for his charity work in all Lycian cities. Benefactor Lived in the 2nd century BC. in the city of Rhodiapolis. Social assistance for the needy and the reconstruction of cities after the earthquake were carried out at the expense of Opramoas. This is the only person who had citizenship in all Lycian cities.
