Aspendos ancient city huge amphitheater Aspendos is an ancient city famous for its preserved ancient amphitheater from the Roman period. When visiting the ancient city, do not forget to take water with you. The ancient city is open to tourists in the summer months from 08:00 to 19:00, and in the winter from 08:00 to 17:00.

One of these works is an aqueduct, built as a result of an original geometric calculation, kilometers from the city; the other is the best acoustic theater in the world, where sound can be heard even from above when coins are thrown on the floor in his orchestra.
Seeing the aqueduct, the king wanted to give his daughter to the architect who built this structure. But when he entered the amphitheater and heard the sound that came inside, he changed his mind. The second brother sang the song and impressed the king with the acoustics. The admired king gave his daughter to the architect Zeno. Their wedding took place at the Aspendos Amphitheater.
