Phaselis is an ancient city from which only ruins remain. The ancient city of Phaselis is located 45 kilometers from Antalya and about 10 kilometers from Kemer. You can get from Antalya by bus or minibus. The ticket can be purchased at the entrance. But it is better to plan your trip in the early morning.
Phaselis is in the midst of pine trees. In hot weather, you can hide from the sweltering sun in the shade of the forest. The pleasant aroma of pine needles will burn you into the atmosphere of history. You will be able to see the ancient amphitheater, the temple of Athena, ports and baths. The beauty of this place was appreciated by Alexander the Great himself.
it is not only an ancient city. We can combine sightseeing and relaxation by the sea. There are also two swimming beaches. One is small and the other is quite large. Azure sea and sandy beach. Tourists like to call this place a paradise bay. The water temperature is much higher than in other parts of the Antalya coast. You will not see sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach. The water depth is not very deep down to the buoys. The gentle entrance to the sea is suitable for swimming with children.
The ruins of the ancient city are surrounded by picturesque cliffs. The city is located at the foot of the Tahtali mountain. A great place for relaxation and recreation. After a walk in the park, you can have a picnic. There is a cafe on site, but it’s expensive.
