Significant examples of monumental architecture, a castle, a city wall, a cistern and a Byzantine church are part of the ancient ruins of the city of Limyra. To the left of the road is the old theater building. There is a mausoleum in front of the theater.

Behind the theater and on the slopes of the hill, there are many houses and tombs that accompany the road for many kilometers. There are more than 400 rock tombs in the leaf. Only a small part has been restored. Climb to the top, then you will have a unique opportunity to see the acropolis.

How to get to the ancient city of Limyra

Follow Finike-Kumluca road D400, take the turn at Finike-Elmali D635 exit. After 4 km you will come to the Yuvali turn. The turn will be to the right. There you will see a brown Limyra sign. Then follow the sign.
