Alanya Fortress was included in the Interim UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000 with its ancient history, has become one of the most visited places. Medieval fortress on the peninsula, rises up to 250 meters above sea level. The length of the walls is 6 kilometers. Alanya Fortress was built on a 10 hectare peninsula during the Hellenistic period.
