Zeytintasi cave is located near the city of Serik. While enjoying the sea and sun of Antalya, the cave will add historical and natural beauty to your vacation. Zeytintasi cave was formed about 10 million years ago. The cave consists of a single gallery, which is divided by columns into halls. Among the stalagmites, stalactites, columns, stone pools, there are several ponds.

Zeytintasi cave was found by chance in 1997 and opened to the public in 2002. The Karst Cave has two floors. The length of the upper floor is 136 meters, and the lower one is 97. The depth of the cave is 14 meters. The cave is not big, but very beautiful.

The air temperature in the Zeytintasi cave is always constant and is 23 degrees. The hot and humid air makes it difficult to walk through the cave. Security measures in the Zeytintasi Cave

Zeytintasi cave is distinguished by unspoiled nature and stunning natural structure. Formation inside the cave is still taking place, so it is worth observing some safety measures:

  • Photo and video filming is requested to avoid damage. The guide may ask you to remove the photo if he sees it.
  • You cannot talk loudly, because this can put stalagmites in the formation.
  • The excursion is accompanied by a guide. Only one group of 10 people is allowed into the cave.
  • It is requested to touch the structure in the caves in order to avoid the destruction of the formations.
