What Can You Do at Üç Adalar?
Üç Adalar refers to three islands west of Antalya, which in fact consists of four islands, including Martı, Mağara, Piknik, and Küçükada.
This is a rare place abundant with sea life and crystal clear waters as a world famous diving center. This diving center has been frequented by people who want to explore the richness underwater.
There are diving centers in Tekirova’s resorts and hotels that provide training for amateur divers. Diving sites in Üç Adalar can be reached by a maximum 30-minute boat ride.
Üç Adalar (Three Islands) is an enormous diving site with 9 reefs and 2 underwater caves. The surface of the underwater reefs are composed of rocks covered with various marine plants.
There are various sized cavities on the surfaces of these walls. One of the largest reefs is Canyon Reef, named after two steep rocks that pass like a canyon.
There are different diving spots in the area such as C-47 Dakota airplane wreck, coast guard boat wreck, a cave, an anchor, a pyramid, and a natural reef.
The three islands are generally the favorite spot of experienced divers, and it is possible to dive down to 30 to 35 meters.
Sea turtles can be frequently seen in area.
