Tunektepe Cable Car is located in the Konyaalti Sarisu region in the center of Antalya. The Tunektepe cable car, opened in 2017, takes its name from the Tunektepe mountain. You will climb to a height of 605 meters. The lift consists of 36 cabins. The length of the aerial tracks is 1706 meters, the travel time will take about 10 minutes. The cabins have 4 seats, but even 8 people can be accommodated at the same time. It is forbidden to smoke, drink and ride. The doors to the booths open automatically.

How to get to the Tunektepe cable car

If you are traveling by bus, then buses KL08 and KL06 go from the center of Antalya. You need to get off at the final stop. You can get from Kemer by bus that goes to Antalya. If you decide to go by car, the cable car is located next to the Sarisu beach of the Konyaalti district.

Tunektepe opening hours

The Tunektepe cable car operates from 10-00 to 17:00. In summer, opening hours are extended until 19:00. You will not be limited in time, you just need to be in time before closing. Monday is a day off. In gusty winds or heavy rain, the cable car does not work. Check the weather before setting off. If a lot of cloudiness is expected, then you will not see anything. Saturday and Sunday is not the best time to visit.

Many locals come on weekends. In order to avoid queues, it is better to arrive early in the morning.
