To help you in your quest for interesting items to buy, we have created this guide to bazaars located in beach resort towns in Antalya.

Below, you will find the dates, locations, and goods that are usually sold at these bazaars. Additionally, we have added tips to easily get to the bazaars from nearby beach resort towns.

1. Tosmur Bazaar in Alanya

The Bazaar in Tosmur takes place once a week on Saturday between 08:00 and 17:00. It’s located between Migros supermarket and nearby 5. Sk street.

The merchants sell good for locals, expats, and tourists in Alanya. Typical goods include clothing, souvenirs, groceries, fresh fruits, meat, household goods, tea, spices, and everyday items.

The easiest way to reach Tosmur Bazaar from the city center of Alanya is by public bus. For hotel guests staying in Oba or Tosmur the Bazaar is within walking distance.

2. Fruit and Vegetable Market in Alanya

Near the Alanya market hall, just above Hacet Square, there is a large fruit and vegetable market on Tuesdays. The traders sell fresh fruit and vegetables from the region such as bananas, oranges, carob, figs, pomegranates, and much more.The easiest way to reach the market is by public bus. Line 50 stops in the immediate vicinity, get off at Okurcalar station.

3. Friday Market in Alanya

A large bazaar is held every Friday in Alanya near the dolmuş stop. Its central location and extensive range of goods make the market popular with locals and tourists alike. It’s only a few meters from the intersection of Büyük Has Bahce Caddesi, the large main road leading north from the Atatürk Monument near the harbor, and Gemici Sokak.

There is a wide range of goods on sale, including fresh fruit and vegetables, clothes of all kinds, shoes, bags, nicknacks, and souvenirs.

Bus lines 202-B, 2B, 40, and 50 stop in the immediate vicinity of the bazaar.

4. Konaklı

The Konaklı Bazaar takes place once a week on Wednesday, between 09:00 and 18:00. It’s held at the Konaklı Medical Center and on the nearby Vatan Street.

Goods for tourists and locals are sold here. The range of products includes fruit and vegetables, spices, tea, household goods, clothes, shoes, and souvenirs.

The easiest way to reach the Konaklı Bazaar from Alanya city center is by public bus.

5. Avsallar

Next to the town hall on Karacaltı Street, a market is held every Wednesday in Avsallar from 9:00 in the morning until 18:00 in the evening.

Fresh fruit, vegetables and meat, as well as items for daily use, souvenirs, household goods, tea, and spices are on sale here.

The easiest way to reach the market is by public bus or dolmuş.

6. Okurcalar

Right next to Alparslan Türkeş Boulevard is the large Okurcalar covered bazaar. Goods of all kinds are offered under the huge roof every Tuesday from 09:00 to 18:00.

Typical goods in the Okurcalar market include fresh fruit and vegetables, spices, tea, and household goods, as well as clothes and shoes. There are many stands selling fake goods, ranging from bags to T-shirts to sportswear.

The easiest way to reach Okurcalar Bazaar from Alanya city center is by public bus. Hotel guests staying at the Botanik Hotel, just have to walk across the street.

7. Kızılağaç

At this market, traders usually start their day at 9:00 in the morning and leave at 19:00 in the evening.

The easiest way to reach the Kızılağaç Pazarı from Alanya city center is by public bus, which runs from Alanya to Manavgat.

8. Manavgat Bazaar

The largest bazaar in the Antalya Province is located in the city center of Manavgat. The Market days are Mondays and Thursdays every week. The merchants usually start their day at 8:00 in the morning and leave at 17:00 in the afternoon.

Typical goods in the Manavgat Bazaar include clothing, souvenirs, groceries, fresh fruits, household goods, tea, spices, and everyday items.

The easiest way to reach the Manavgat Bazaar from nearby beach resort towns like Side, Kumköy, and Evrenseki is the dolmuş. Please ask your hotel reception for the best route.

9. Side Old Town

The entire peninsula on which the old town of Side is located is like a huge open-air market, with one shop after the other. There is an almost endless selection of gold and silver jewelry, leather goods, carpets, clothing of all kinds, glass mosaic lamps, ceramics, sea foam carvings, spices, tea, coffee, and souvenirs.

Usually the shops open at 9:30 in the morning and close around 9:00 pm. During the high season in summer, longer opening hours until late in the evening are not uncommon.

The old town of Side can be reached from Antalya by bus line 600, which goes to Manavgat. From there, minibuses depart for Side. If you are staying in Side or the surrounding area, you can take a dolmuş or use the public bus.

10. Side Saturday Market

Every week on Saturday, a weekly market is held in Side very close to the intersection of Cemal Gürsel Bulvarı and 1007 Sokak. The sales starts in the morning around 9:30 am and usually ends at 7:00 pm. Fresh fruit and vegetables from the region are sold, as well as products prepared by the locals at home, such as cheese, yogurt, tomato paste, farmhouse bread, and much more.

The eggplant and bitter orange jams are particularly interesting. In addition, things for everyday use are sold at the bazaar, as well as clothes, shoes, bags, and souvenirs.

The market is centrally located in the city center and is easiest to reach by public bus.

11. Serik District

Every Tuesday, a large weekly market is held in Serik at the intersection of Hacı Azmi Akman and 2153. Sok. Fruit, vegetables, spices, clothing, sports shoes, and bags are sold here.

On Fridays, there is a night market between 16:00 and 24:00.

Serik is about 30 kilometers east of Antalya and about 10 kilometers north of Belek. Public buses run from Belek to Serik. In the summer, there is an additional dolmuş.

12. Belek Market

On Saturdays, a weekly market is held at the intersection of Atatürk Caddesi and Mehmet Akif Ersoy Caddesi very close to the central mosque. The sale usually starts around 9:30 in the morning and ends at 19:00.

The market sells clothes and sports shoes, articles for daily use and, of course, fresh fruit and vegetables from the region.

The easiest way to reach the market is by public bus or dolmuş. If you are staying in Belek, you can take a walk to the market.

13. Antalya Bazaar

In this market, which is open all week, you can find everything your heart desires. Souvenirs, leather goods, gifts, spices, clothing, and much more is waiting here for you. Also, a lot of inexpensive items are offered. The dealers are usually happy to haggle over the price and make some jokes.

The bazaar is partially covered and is located in the center of Antalya, which makes it very popular with visitors.

You might also stroll through the small alley right next to the market, where coppersmiths are located and still produce their goods as they did a hundred years ago. Plates, pots, and tea trays are in high demand.

14. Saturday Bazaar in Lara

Every Saturday a market is held in the Lara district. Fresh fruits and vegetables, cheese, spices, souvenirs, and clothes are sold. Fresh and dried herbs are also on sale. The market is somewhat reminiscent of a flea market, also second-hand clothes can be found here. It’s one of the largest clothing markets in Antalya.

Various food stalls invite you to snack, especially recommended is Gözleme, which is made from thin, flat bread filled with feta cheese, spinach, potatoes, and minced meat.

From the bus stop at Sinanoğlu and Ismet Gökşen Caddesi it’s about a five minute walk.

15. Kaleiçi in Antalya

Kaleiçi is not a bazaar in the strictest sense, but the atmosphere is the same. In the old town of Antalya, you can find one souvenir store after another in the narrow cobblestone streets. Antiques, paintings, and high-quality carpets are also sold here. The houses themselves are also worth seeing, some dating back to the Ottoman era. It seems as if time has stopped here.

16. Kemer District

Münir Özkul Liman Caddesi is a pedestrian zone and shopping mile. In its extension, on Lise Caddesi, you will find more shops.

Gold and silver jewelry, leather goods, carpets, clothing of all kinds, glass mosaic lamps, ceramics, sea foam carvings, spices, tea, coffee, and souvenirs are sold. The shops are open daily, including Sundays. During the high season, opening hours until late in the evening are not uncommon.

Kemer is located about 40 kilometers from Antalya and is easily reachable by public transport. The shopping street is a good option if you are staying in or near Kemer. Kemer is connected to the surrounding area by dolmuş.

17. Göynük

A weekly market is held every Saturday at the intersection of Bülent Ercevit Caddesi and 63. Sokak. The market is set up right next to Republic Square – Cumhuriyet Meydanı. The goods on offer include spices, fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as clothing and everyday items.

The easiest way to reach the market is by public bus. Bus line AK03 stops very close by at the Adnan Menderes Caddesi stop. From there it’s an 8-minute walk.

18. Camyuva

Every Wednesday, a weekly market is held in Camyuva. The market is easy to find as it’s set up right by the municipality – Merkez Mahalle Belediye. Usually the sale starts in the morning at 10:00 am and ends in the evening hours around 7:00 pm.

In addition to fresh fruit and vegetables, spices and fish are on sale, as well as clothing and everyday household items.

The easiest way to reach the market is by public bus. The MC68 bus line, which runs from Antalya to Kemer, stops right by the market at the municipality.

19. Beldibi

The weekly market, held every Monday in Beldibi, sells fresh fruit and vegetables from the region as well as clothes, accessories, shoes, and household items. Trading usually starts in the morning at 10:00 am and ends in the evening around 7:00 pm.

The easiest way to reach the market is by public bus. Beldibi is about halfway between Antalya and Kemer, from where buses run regularly to Beldibi.

20. Tekirova – Old Istanbul Bazaar

The Bazaar in Tekirova is somewhat similar to the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, although the dimensions are completely different. The shops are roofed over and grouped together in a passage.

Souvenirs, such as tea sets and Turkish coffee cups, water pipes, oriental lamps, carpets, and the like are sold. Lokum, the famous Turkish sweet, is also for sale.

It’s open daily from 10:00 in the morning until 24:00 in the evening. Foreign guests love the bazaar, which has an oriental flair.

The easiest way to reach the Istanbul Old Bazaar in Tekirova is by public transport.

21. Cıralı

Çıralı is a very small place right by the sea next to the ancient city of Olympos. Caretta Caretta sea turtles breed on the beach in Cıralı. There are several shops in the village that cover daily shopping needs.

Since 2015, a farmers’ market has been held in Cıralı on Sundays, set up near the Çıralı bridge.

The farmers sell their products here, which they have grown in the surrounding area, such as eggplants, tomatoes, peppers, spinach, parsley, and the like. The market is held at irregular intervals, so it’s best to ask the locals about the opening hours and if the market is being held.

The market is mainly visited by locals. Çıralı is about 10 kilometers from Tekirova, which can be reached by dolmuş or minibus. There you will find much bigger markets, bazaars, and better tourist shopping facilities.

22. Adrasan

In the tiny village of Ardasan, a farmers’ market is held every Sunday. Regional products produced by farmers in the surrounding area are sold. The farmers come with minibuses in front of which they display their goods for sale. The homemade lemonade is particularly good. It’s said that the nearby Taurus Mountains give a special flavor to the lemons from which the lemonade is made.

It’s best to ask the locals where the market is and when it is open. Adrasan is about 30 kilometers from Camyuva. There is always a market on Wednesdays.

23. Kaş

Every Friday, a weekly market is held in Kaş. In addition to fresh fruit and vegetables from the region, clothing, household items, and souvenirs are also sold. The market is popular with locals and tourists alike.

Directly opposite Kaş is the small Greek island of Meis. Boats leave twice a day from Meis to Kaş and vice versa. The almost 5 kilometer trip only takes about 15 minutes. The inhabitants of Meis take the opportunity to go to Kaş in their own motorboats to do their shopping.

24. Kalkan

The bazaar in Kalkan is held once a week on Thursdays between 09:00 and 18:00. It’s located between Mustafa Özgen Mosque and the nearby Karayolları Sokak.

Fresh fruit and vegetables from the region are sold, as well as clothes, shoes, bags, and watches. In addition, there are spices and lokum is also available at the market.

The AK03 bus line, which runs from Antlaya to Kalkan, stops very close to the market.
