The Alanya-Gazipasa airport is the second largest airport in the Antalya province, after the Antalya Airport located close to the city center.
This airport is useful if you want to travel to Alanya directly. This area includes beach resort towns like Alanya and Konaklı, all the way to the eastern part of Side.

The Alanya-Gazipasa Airport serves both domestic and international destinations. This airport is a smaller one and sometimes due to bad weather conditions, planes are not able to start fully fueled and have to land in Izmir for refueling.
There are very few direct flights to the Alanya-Gazipasa Airport. Usually you have to change planes in Istanbul or Ankara, however the airport is a good option if you are visiting places between Side and Alanya.
The Terminal at the Alanya-Gazipasa Airport
The terminal at the Gazipasa Airport has a total area of 2,144 m². There is only one terminal. Because of the limited space, a maximum of 2 aircrafts can be handled at the same time.
Airport Transfers at the Alanya-Gazipasa Airport
The fastest way to reach the airport is by car via the highway, but there are of course alternatives.
Car: Alanya Gazipasa Airport is located 40 kilometers east of Alanya and 3 kilometers north of Gazipasa. It is easy to reach via the D 400 highway, the drive takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic.
Public Bus: Public transportation is not very well-developed, nevertheless there are two bus lines that go to the Alanya-Gazipasa Airport; GAL02 and MH11. The bus stops are about a 2 minute walk from the airport building.
Havaş: Havaş Ground Handling offers a private shuttle services from the airport to the center of Alanya. In the downtown area of Alanya, the service mainly covers tourist destinations. The departure times of the buses are coordinated with the arrival times of domestic flights and the trip takes 60 minutes, depending on traffic.
Taxi: A taxi stop can be found in front of the airport terminal. Be sure to have the driver turn on the taxi meter. Prices for trips to more remote areas outside the Alanya city area served by the Alanya-Gazipasa Airport, such as Manavgat, Side, Avsallar, Incekum, and others are usually set in foreign currency. Car Rentals at the Alanya-Gazipasa Airport
Rental car providers have offices directly in the airport, but there are relatively few vehicles available. Europcar has the most cars to offer. It’s recommended to reserve your car online in advance. Some providers, such as Sixt, give discounts if the reservation is made online.
Restaurants, Shopping, and Duty-Free
Due to the relatively small passenger volume, which is even further influenced by the seasons, options for eating at the airport are relatively limited. There is a restaurant and café in the terminal.

The airport has 105 parking spaces. The prices change depending on the type of vehicle and how long it is parked.

Although there is no airport hotel directly at the Gazipasa Airport, there are several accommodations within about 3 to 4 kilometers, such as the Özyigit Otel, a modernly furnished 3-star hotel with sauna and fitness room, and the functionally designed Delfin Hotel, which stands out with its proximity to the beach.
In addition, there are numerous accommodation options in all price ranges in the vicinity. Family-run hotels and guesthouses are particularly worth mentioning.

Wi-Fi connection is available in the arrival and departure halls of the terminal. Internet service is provided through Türk Telekom.
